Job Summary

The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily office operations of scheduling, reception, billing and ordering.

Full-time position (40 hours per week: 9-5:30) with benefits and compensation commensurate with experience.

Job Description

 


Functions:



  1. Bookkeeping and basic accounting - accounts payable and receivable

  2. Office operations - coordinates the administrative tasks with clinical tasks, including the electronic documentation

  3. Customer Service - monitors customer service and satisfaction and resolves issue in collaboration with the owner and team

  4. Operation of standard office equipment: multi-line telephone, facsimile machine, photocopier machine, computer, and printer. Ensures efficient operation and coordinates all necessary maintenance

  5. Office supplies - maintains office supply inventory and orders additional supplies as needed

  6. Billing - verifies all necessary information needed to process claims with insurance companies, completes and submits insurance claims accurately. Knowledge of Therabill and WebPT 

  7. Supervision - supervises administrative assistants, clinical assistants and aides.


Requirements:



  1. High School Diploma

  2. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common mathematical and technical reports, financial reports, and legal documents

  3. Ability to respond to inquiries and complaints from individuals, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community

  4. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, accounting, design, internet and database software.

  5. Working knowledge of Health Insurance terminology
