OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: To interview and assess defendants detained in the Monroe County jail, ascertain the risks, determine the most appropriate recommendation for release and make that recommendation to the court.
Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of complex and confidential administrative duties; ensures the most timely, efficient and professional operations, and delivery of customer service to internal & external consumers.
Maintains personnel records for all ABC employees; tracks all hiring paperwork for Office of Children and Family Services and completes verifications of employment for all staff. This position will enter data into various databases; and assist in pre/post hiring activities. Provides direct assistance to the Human Resources Director and supports HR staff.
Under the direction of CDD’s Managing Director, the Credible Messenger serves as a mentor and resource to consumers in the Community Credible Messenger Initiative program. The Credible Messenger plays a major role in CCMI’s recidivism reduction efforts; and assist in coordinating a variety of prevention /intervention activities/services for high risk youth, vulnerable populations, in the City of Rochester.
The Credible Messenger serves as a liaison that connects program consumers with resources and opportunities that promote personal, educational, vocational, financial development and self-sufficiency. This position works to provide guidance regarding consumer developmental needs and strengths; and provides case management and information & referral services to supplemental programs and opportunities, as deterrents to justice contact, criminal involvement, exposure and recidivism.
The Human Resource Manager is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function at Rochester Rehabilitation Center.
