Responsible for developing and implementing recruiting strategies. Responsible for complete employment process including advertising, interviewing, selection recommendations, and insuring compliance with government employment regulations for non-paraprofessionals. Also, responsible for oversight of preplacement compliance.
The Human Resources Specialist provides guidance while coordinating and administering Hillside protocols in accordance with all government regulations, plan documents and agency policies, procedures under appropriate supervision and direction off the Hillside Leadership Team. This position exercises independent judgment and decision making while producing and maintaining a variety of required records and reports as well as actively responds promptly with sensitivity to the needs of all employee requests.
Purpose: Applying the principles of Person Centered and Trauma Informed services, the placement specialist assists consumers with preparing for, securing, and maintaining employment in competitive community settings.
